ABOUT ME
A Dedicated Singing Teacher
Hi, I’m Jade - a professional singer, music and singing specialist and primary school teacher working in Sussex.
I absolutely love singing and composing and, after achieving First Class BA (Honours) in my music degree, it makes me so happy to be able to share my passion and knowledge with others through individual and group teaching. After university, I studied a PGCE in Primary Education and qualified as a school teacher in 2016. I now work as a Music and Singing Specialist Teacher in schools and I’ve been privileged to see so many students discover their natural skills and abilities and develop their voice and stage presence all while nurturing a love and joy of music. INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP SINGING LESSONS
I offer both individual and group singing lessons to children and adults, no matter your level or experience.
A typical lesson consists of body and breath exercises aiding vocal health and stamina, vocal warm ups, interval practise and aural training and plenty of time to put your new knowledge into practice through the learning and performing of chosen songs.
I currently teach a variety of students, some who sing purely for the joy of doing so and some who are keen to progress through singing grades and GCSE exams. I will happily plan lessons to suit your individual singing needs.
Lessons usually take place in a dedicated music room at my home but I can also travel to your house if preferred. Please note, a small petrol expense will be added to the price of your lesson if outside of Uckfield. I offer lessons in Uckfield, Crowborough, Heathfield, Lewes, Burgess Hill, Hassocks, East Grinstead and more.

MUSIC THEORY CLASSES
If you’re looking for help with music theory, then a 1:1 music theory class may be just the thing for you. Lessons can be centred around specific skills to cater to individual needs and music level. I also offer a more general theory session for younger learners and beginners. Get in touch to find out more.
PRIVATE TUTORING
As well as offering professional singing tuition, as a primary school teacher, I have extensive experience in teaching maths and English to children. I can tutor your child on a 1:1 basis and help them to further develop skills in maths, reading, writing and spelling as well as phonics and statistics. I design each lesson I offer according to my students’ abilities, and make the necessary changes once I become more familiar with their needs. CHARGES AND TIMINGS
Individual and group singing lessons can be booked for either 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour. A 10% discount is available when booking lessons in 6 week blocks.
Cost for individual lessons:
30 minute lesson - £14
45 minute lesson - £20
60 minute lesson - £25
An additional £6 per student is applied when booking group singing lessons.
Cost for group lessons (based on a paired singing lesson):
30 minute lesson - £20
45 minute lesson - £26
60 minute lesson - £31
Cost for music theory classes:
30 minute lesson - £15
60 minute lesson - £25
Cost for private tutoring:
30 minute session - £15
60 minute session - £25
VIRTUAL LESSONS
As well as teaching face to face lessons, I also offer virtual sessions online via Zoom. These classes can be booked in the afternoon and evenings and run for 35 minutes. Virtual lessons can be booked for individual singing tuition, music theory booster sessions and private tutoring.
The cost of a 35-minute virtual lesson is £12.
